Terms & Conditions

- Full payment of the cost of the Hat/headpiece will be taken at the time of booking.  

- Hire length is for 7 days in total.  The headpiece/hat will be delivered to you 3 days prior to your event and will need to be returned within 3 days after your event.  Any delay in returning items may incur a fee.

 

- Once the item is returned to us in a satisfactory condition the Hire fee plus postage costs will be with-held and the remaining amount will be refunded.  

- We require at least 1 weeks notice before the date of booking if you wish to cancel the booking for no charges to take effect.  Notice of any less will result in the full hire amount being charged. 

 

- Once a hat has been posted/taken for hire it is considered a hire even if it not worn for your event and there will be no refund.

- Payment - we accept cash on collection/delivery or payment can be made using a debit or credit card.  We also accept BACS payments online.

- We offer a free delivery service within 5 miles of our studio.  Collection in person from the studio is always welcome, or if you are too far away we offer a next day delivery once your headpiece/hat is ready at a flat rate of £10 to anywhere in the UK.

- If hiring by post we require items to be returned by Recorded delivery so they can be fully tracked and insured.  The return postage fee will be at your own cost.  Please note: Until the hat is received back safely to HT Hats it is the responsibility of the Hirer.

- A black bin bag is supplied within the hat box to wrap the box back up for return postage.  Please do not tape postage labels directly onto the box.

Terms of Hire
Terms of Bespoke and Buy back scheme

- A deposit will be taken to secure your order and will be taken at the time of booking with the remaining balance required for settlement before delivery or collection of the piece

- Please allow 2 weeks for a bespoke hat/headpiece to be made for you.  We can accommodate rushed orders too, please get in touch to discuss your requirements

 

- For Buy back scheme items, the full amount is required to be paid, but once the item is returned to us in a satisfactory condition the Bespoke hire fee fee plus postage costs will be with-held and the remaining amount will be refunded.  

- Once a deposit is paid and an order taken, no refund will be issued for the deposit
